poem walk 22
Every Sunday, I’ll publish a poem walk - or other activity that brings flash nonfiction In a poem walk, the writer goes on a stroll and “writes” and memorizes a poem, then puts it to the page when they arrive home. The prompt for this week is: open air.
While walking, think about what it means to be out in the open. Does it mean to escape the city or just walk outside of your front door? What is the weather like in your place of “open.” Are there other openings in your life that you can associate with walking into the wide open air?
When you get home, you can use your “poem” as a stand alone piece or use it to begin writing a page. For this one, I suggest capping at 500 words.
